Orchid

Orchid is SPA salon. Orchid should be thought of as a luxurious SPA, with very sophisticated clientele. I did not intend to forcefully create something groundbreaking and different only for the sake of being different. The whole idea bases on typographic logo, which reinforces feel of neatness, elegance and luxury. I aimed to avoid creating a logo with such an obvious solution as a orchid symbol. The main theme in identity are graphically represented flowers, contrasting in their flamboyant form the minimalistic form of the logo.

Despite of cookbook abundance on the market, each and every books of this kind look misleadingly similar. Every abound in beautiful photos, presenting delicious looking food, offers us great range of recipes each as a single unit looks quite good. But is not temptin to try something different, sometimes? Maybe a cookbook does not have to iclude great macro photos with a beautiful bokeh, but begin new life as a pragmatic object. We demand to fulfill function a devolving information, to be helpful during cooking.
The main goal of the project was to flash on functional aspect of a cookbook, boiling down the purely aesthetic aspect to its minimum. Apart from standard recipes, the book contains nutrition facts about every meal. Informative layer was also enriched by information about popular ingredients used in kitchen, to wide the readerâs awareness about what he eats and how he eats it.

Po dłuższej przerwie nowy projekt – tym razem miałem przyjemność realizować identyfikację wizualną dla firmy Toptynk zajmującej się kładzeniem tynków. Identyfikacja obejmowała wszystkie podstawowe elementy a sam projekt był wyjątkowo przyjemny. W najbliższym czasie na umieszczę pełne case study z powstawania znaku dla firmy Toptynk.

Toptynk

Toptynk is a construction company from Poland. They needed new corporate identity to communicate the leap from a small local construction company to a modern and more a respectable one, widening their range of services. They had invested in new equipment, employed new workers and needed change of their image.

The whole new corporate identity system was developed.The primary objective of the company’s owner was a new logo. It had to be very simple, unique, easily recognizable and memorable. Sometimes the idea occurs very quickly, and so was in this case. The new symbol is direct reference to company’s activity. The two letters “T” are creating reference to a house but also to an arrow referring to the “top” in the company’s name. It also suggests constant growth like a house growing during a construction phase.

Along with the new logo, I have created whole identity system, stationery, business cards, envelopes, signs for construction sites and a whole brandbook. New identity system produced a unique and modern image, bringing new clients establishing an important reliability.

Właśnie otrzymałem miłą informację, że zostałem zakwalifikowany do książki LogoLounge Master Collection. Tematem przewodnim pierwszej książki są inicjały.

Main theme of this project was creating information about any given item. I have chosen coffee, which is indispensible drink for every graphic designer. The book contains various information starting with the coffee bean structure, cultivation facts, but also the brewering methods and other. Everything has been shown in a form of various diagrams and infographics. The overall feel is enhanced when it is held in hand, printed it on uncoated, heavy stocked paper, with little yellowish tint.
